Came across this cool video of a little experiment aboard the ISS where they made a drinking cup that was shaped to both contain the fluid and wick it up to the edge where it could be sipped out. No more squeeze bottles! http://sciencestage.com/v/851/a-cup-of-joe-in-space.html <embed src="http://sciencestage.com/flvplayer.swf" quality="high" width="450" height="367" name="VideoPlayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" FlashVars="file=uploads/d4bwaoh0fhhkky8c.flv&width=450&height=367&displaywidth=450&displayheight=367&overstretch=true&showfsbutton=false&image=http://sciencestage.com/uploads/thumbs/d4bwaoh0fhhkky8c.jpg&link=http://sciencestage.com/v/851/a-cup-of-joe-in-space.html&linktarget=_blank&backcolor=0xFFFFFF" wmode="transparent" border="0"><a href="http://sciencestage.com/v/851/a-cup-of-joe-in-space.html">A Cup of Joe in Space</a>></embed> |

That's really interesting! The proof of the coffee cup is in the drinking, and judging by the video this cup works pretty well. I like the satisfied expression of the astronaut in the video. Looks like the expression of somebody who knows they have a really elegant solution to a problem. |

This is going to make it a whole lot easier to have wild parties on the ISS |
