Taking vicodin and morphine together will make you post gibberish on web boards? Who'd have thought that...

Might want to tighten up your security and registration filtering on this site.

This is a long-running problem.

Basically no types of registration and filtering security really work any more EXCEPT for a spambot question, where part of the registration process includes having to answer a question which is simple for humans but hard for bots. (E.g. "what colour is Mars?")

So my friend Bora installed an anti-bot question on this forum and on the Philosophy Now Forum which we also run. This worked extremely well until we redecorated and replaced the boring old forum style with the funky one featuring an "Earth and stars" background, which you see now.

Everyone liked the new style, but it has a few bugs and drawbacks, one of them being that the anti-bot question doesn't display any more, so we had to switch that off. Hopefully Bora will find a way to tackle this problem at some stage, but he's pretty busy right now so for the time being I'm just deleting the spambots and their postings manually.

See you there! That forum has been going for a few years now and is relatively busy, partly because of the connection with the magazine.
