I wasn't aware that there was now an industry body for private spaceflight companies. I suppose it was only a matter of time. Anyway, it is called the Commercial Spaceflight Federation. There is a Wikipedia article about it here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commercial ... Federation

and it has its own website here:

http://www.commercialspaceflight.org/

The list of members is fascinating. All the usual suspects are there, with a few others as well.

Can't see Alan Bond of Reaction Engines Ltd on the list.

So far as I can tell from clicking around on their list of members, all of the member companies of the Commercial Spaceflight Federation are US companies. That would explain why Reaction Engines is not listed, I suppose - it is a UK company. I know that there are also some Russian commercial space companies. What is the picture worldwide?
