NASA's Maven Mars probe just took off.

Just wanted to say - I think starting the new forum section just for threads with polls is a good idea. Well done. I have always quite liked polls - I think they help sharpen a discussion.

There are a whole heap of active "Mars colonisation" proposals at the moment. It is hard to tell which ones (if any) are the serious ones, but some of them seem to be getting a lot of press interest.
