I found this article quite interesting. I posted a while ago expressing concern over 'crowded skies', but this isn't an article on how to get rid of space junk I'm afraid, but on how we're putting more and more stuff up there, junk or otherwise. In a lot of ways I like that space is becoming a cheaper affair and that you don't have to have the backing of a national administration to get some valuable info from orbital space, or even farther with the Google Lunar X Prize, but I'm still worried that we have at least one issue appearing that we thought we could shed ourselves of as we venture out into space: pollution, both of the higher atmosphere and in orbit as well.
