Blue Origin just did its first successful test of a sub-orbital rocket a couple of weeks ago. They have cool video here:

Wiki says the company was set up by Jeff Bezos of Amazon inc. Maybe they'll use this rocket for future deliveries? :-)

Mark - thanks. That looks like a fairly advanced stage of a quite ambitious launch system. I'll post this on our Facebook page when I get a sec.

Well it doesn't yet, because this experience isn't even available yet. I don't know. The stuff about their spacecraft was interesting, but most of the videos there now seem to be graphics-rich, content-light travel-agency style vids. Hmm.

Any news from Blue Origin ? there does not seem to be much happening since this initial flight ? :frown:

Apparently they are working on a heavy lift rocket called New Glenn. They've been testing engines for it as you can see here:

The aim is to have it ready in 2020.
